Hi! Everyone, I just started reading a novel by a Turkish author Elif Shafak, The Forty Rules Of Love.
I have already read half of the book. I want to share a few lines from it which always reminds me of compassion, love and brotherhood
It states that…
The universe is one being. Everything and everyone is interconnected through an invisible web of stories. Whether we are aware of it or not, we are all in a silent conversation. Do not harm. Practice compassion. And do not gossip behind anyone’s back—not even a seemingly innocent remark! The words that come out of our mouths do not vanish but are perpetually stored in infinite space, and they will come back to us in due time. One man’s pain will hurt us all. One’s man’s joy will make everyone smile.
This is also known as Voice of Love. People who have never seen your face will be inspired by our voices. That’s why there is a famous quote,
Think before you speak. Read before you think
Fran Lebowitz
Thoughts
Think before you speak. Practice compassion, love, and respect. What do you think is necessary? Is it true? Is it helpful? Is it kind and important?
Because I think your words matter a lot rather than your acts.
And we can solve everything with love and respect.
What do you think? I will be glad to know what you think about this. And don’t forget to like, comment, and follow.
