What is trauma

Hi, everyone. I just started research on trauma when one of my friend share her story about how she recover from it. My purpose of sharing is just to let you acknowledge about this and hope it might be helpful for all you too.

She faced tough days. To start, she have struggled with severe anxiety and depression for years. It stems from childhood trauma that makes her believe that she is worthless and will never be or do anything of importance. All she ever want to do is make life better for others and leave the world a better place, but she was let down and defeated every time she tried to do anything. She saw herself as nothing but a failure. It is so bad that she frequently have suicidal thoughts.

She felt hopeless, lost, worthless, and fearful that she will never do anything that matters.
She had to quit her job too because she was so depressed. She was extremely self-deprecating and do not value her life at all. She has given up on her dreams because things have never worked out for her.

This is nothing more than like a nightmare. It’s not as easy as it’s seem.

What is the definition of trauma in simple words?

The deeply distressing or disturbing event that overwhelms an individual’s ability to cope, causes feelings of helplessness, diminishes their sense of self and their ability to feel the full range of emotions and experiences.

Examples of traumatic events include:

  • death of family member, lover, friend, teacher, or pet
  • divorce
  • physical pain or injury (e.g. severe car accident)
  • serious illness
  • war
  • natural disasters
  • terrorism
  • moving to a new location
  • parental abandonment
  • witnessing a death
  • rape
  • domestic abuse
  • prison stay

These are some examples of traumatic events and my friend became one of the victim from it. But thank God she is totally fine by taking some help from professional therapist and by her own self belief and because of some most important people in her life. She has now started her own business. And I am so happy for her. I am glad she is fine now.

Thoughts 💭

From my point of view Trauma is a wound, and wounds can only heal in the right environment.

Love, compassion, empathy, and time
Are the few vital ingredients that are necessary for the healing environment has key components so surround yourself with good people

Caring for my garden

I wrote this poem so I could try and lift my spirit when I felt loneliness and when my mind got stuck between the negativity and darkness of this world
I listen to my inner voice. My own soul and try to make myself deaf from the noise of the world as possible as I can and stop caring what other people think. I follow my heart and create a garden that shows how much I love myself

Caring for my garden
Negative thoughts are
not allowed in my garden
I clear weeds as I go
Sprinkle positive thoughts
Sew new seeds daily
I am the Gardner
Caring for my garden
I choose what I want to choose
Each flower I sow blooms
With love and care
Gratitude is my power
Positivity is my partner
Go hand in hand
One little flower nods
In the delicate breeze
Dancing with my emotions
In my pretty white dress
The flowers smell like

fragrance of love
I water the plants with my love
Caring for my garden
Yellow lilies symbolize me
Bright but tiny decorative
Fades but never shades
Uncomfortable with strangers
But supervising the loved ones
Blushes in excitement
Always got hurt from the loved once
But then the inner spirit lifts
And listen to my heart
And my heart what’s what it want
I am the owner

Karma said……

1. Don’t waste your time on revenge. The people who hurt you will eventually face their own karma

2. Only you are in charge of your happiness

3. The only person you should try to beat is the person you were yesterday

4. Never judge someone without knowing the whole story. You may think, you understand but you don’t

5. Sometimes you have to suffer in life. Not because you were bad. But because you didn’t realize where to stop being good

6. Waiting is the sign of true love and happiness

7. Someday someone will break you so badly, that you will become unbreakable.

8. No posion can kill a positive thinker, and no medicine can save a negative thinker.

9. Pleasure and pain comes from ypur own past actions. So it is easy to define karma in one sentence. “Act well, and things will go well;act wrongly, and things will go wrong.”

10. If you focus on the hurt, you will continue to suffer. If you focus on the lesson, you will continue to grow.

11. Nothing is more precious than being in the present moment, Fully alive, fully aware.

12. Never waste a good day by thinking about a bad day.
